Looking for a Nashville USTA Team?
Register for one of these OPEN teams beginning January 1, 2023! The OPEN teams are made for players who don’t currently have a team or a captain and are looking to play the Leagues. You will meet many new players and get to know players from other teams. Follow the instructions on the Membership, Account, Self-Rate, Teams pdf.
More than 200 acres in Spring Hill could soon be home to a mixed-use development centered around a major tennis complex. Developers with Southstar, LLC—who have been working with the United States Tennis Association (USTA)—met Monday night to propose the project to the Planning Commission.
USTA is wanting to let you know about some opportunities for league play. There are openings on several teams for 3.0 players.

The Early Start League, ESL, is a league (for a championship year) that begins before the next calendar year begins and before year-end ratings are published. For example, a league that takes place in the fall of the 2021 calendar year but is for the 2022 Championship Year. ESL winners will be invited to participate in the 2022 Tennessee State Championships. This is team play, membership required.
Team registration ends September 8, 2021. Play starts late September thru early December.

Although Bill Riddle has coached Team Southern more than ten times over the last 25 years, this was the first year ever for Team Southern to get two teams in the event. The field consists of 16 teams invited from around the USA.
The Southern Combo Doubles league features men's and women's teams playing 3 doubles matches. The doubles teams use a combined NTRP rating that does not exceed the level on which they are playing. The unique format is what makes the COMBO DOUBLES league so fun! It also offers the chance to play with different people and to make new friends.

Nashville’s Mixed Doubles Flex League is open to 18 & Over players. The goal of the Flex Leagues is to have fun, get to know local players and give players an opportunity to improve their game in a relaxed setting. It is also a great opportunity for partners to practice and prep for USTA Mixed Doubles and other Leagues this summer and fall. This league is flexible scheduling. Matches are scheduled each week by the opponents when it is convenient for them to play (date, time and court location.) Playing in the Flex Leagues will NOT affect your NTRP.
Nashville’s Singles League is open to all levels and adult players. The goal of the Singles League is to have fun, meet local players and give players an opportunity to improve their singles game. Singles League is flexible scheduling, matches are scheduled by the opponents when it is convenient for them to play. Playing on the Singles League will not affect your NTRP. There are no teams, only individuals. You do not need to be a member to play.
