Meetup is a website that allows users to organize get-togethers with others who enjoy the same activities. Some common examples include sports teams, book clubs, and social groups. It was founded in 2002.
Who: Tennis Nashville Meetup is one of the largest meetup groups specifically for playing tennis, with over 2,100 registered tennis players! Our Tennis Meetup has been operating and growing continuously since 2011.
What: Tennis Nashville Meetup is all about getting Tennis enthusiasts in the Nashville area together for playing pickup mixed doubles and singles tennis! There are recurring meetups in the works for almost every day of the week. Members at all levels are welcome to come play. Some groups may not specify level and others are specific for beginner, intermediate and advanced. We hope to gradually add back social meetups just to hang out and have some fun, soon. Members are encouraged to create their own meetups to find members playing at their skill level. We invite you to join!
Where: “Event leaders” host meetups at public court locations throughout Middle Tennessee. Presently we have meetups scheduled at Glencliffe High School, Shelby Park, Memorial Park-Hendersonville, Cedar Hill Park, Centennial(cost), McGavock High School, Hillwood High School.
When: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday and more to come soon!
