Remembering Deborah Love Armour

by Cari Blevons

Deb was a tennis icon in Nashville, captaining 24 or more teams, each year for the last 7 years. She took multiple teams to state and regional competitions, as well as taking the 55+ team to Nationals.

Deb was the face of tennis for so many of us: she brought us together not only to form a team, but also gave us a sense of community, family, and provided us the avenue to make lifelong friendships.

This year, Deborah Love Armour, will be honoured posthumously, for her incredible contributions to Middle Tennessee Tennis.  The Tennis Nashville Award of Excellence will be presented at the Annual Social Event.
