
MTTL 2020
The Men’s Middle Tennessee Tennis League (MTTL) began their Summer/Fall league on Thursday, July 9. A total of 22 teams are led by 33 captains with 450 players participating.
The 11 week season plays through Thursday, September 17.
This year will be less formal than previous years, with an abbreviated schedule, no league fees, and no end of season tournament.
Weekly standings will be reported to all captains.
If you are interested in organizing an 2021 MTTL team, contact: Rick Neumann, cell (615) 587-6800. The main requirement is 4 outdoor lighted courts available for ½ of the Thursday nights from 6 pm until 10 pm, typically running from early April though the end of August. Each team needs a minimum of 12 players for a full line-up for each match, but at least 18 players on a roster is recommended.
22 teams are spread across 3 divisions.
Each team match consists of 4 singles matches followed by 4 doubles matches as courts become available.
Divisions 1&2 have 7 teams each.
Division 3 has 8 teams.
