MTTL is turning back the clock to 2019!
The Format was simple, have 4 lines of singles and 4 lines of doubles; play a friendly match, meet new people, and enjoy the great game of tennis.
Fast forward some 45 years later …… We are still around!
The League consists of 3 divisions, with 8 teams each – Playing out of various venues in the Metro area of Nashville. Ages range from 22 to 70+! Open to any and all! Play is on the first Thursday of May to the last Thursday of August, with a 14-match season (home and away) format, and rain make-ups are scheduled in the calendar. We have regular season Champions, as well as at the end of the year, we have a tournament where the top 12 on each team compete for individual and team trophies.
Divisional breakdowns are according to abilities, and the NTRP guidelines where Division One players are in the range of 4.5+, Division 2 players are in the range of 4.0-4.5 and Division 3 players are in the range from 3.5 to 4.0.
We welcome any and all persons. Our last full season was 2019. With all the confusion on social distancing, as well as limitations due to Covid guidelines, our hope is to roll the clock back to 2019 and move forward with a life full of friends and tennis!
