Nashville’s Mixed Doubles Flex League is open to 18 & Over players. The goal of the Flex Leagues is to have fun, get to know local players and give players an opportunity to improve their game in a relaxed setting. It is also a great opportunity for partners to practice and prep for USTA Mixed Doubles and other Leagues this summer and fall. This league is flexible scheduling. Matches are scheduled each week by the opponents when it is convenient for them to play (date, time and court location.) Playing in the Flex Leagues will NOT affect your NTRP. Each “team” consists of one mixed doubles pair or one doubles pair USTA membership is not required to play.
Registration Begins: April 1, 2021
Registration Deadline: May 1, 2021
Season: May 15, 2021 - August 31, 2021
League Fee: USTA Members $13, Non-USTA Members $23
Mixed Doubles Divisions: Total combined ratings of of male/female partners.
- 6.0 (max 3.5, min 2.5)
- 8.0 (max 4.5, min 3.5)
- 7.0 (max 4.0, min 3.0)
- 9.0 (max 5.0, min 4.0)
Doubles Divisions: Partners have the same rating (players may play up one level only.)
- Men - 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5
- Women - 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5
Registration Instructions for USTA Members and Non-Members:
1. Go to the full TennisLink website on your laptop or PC (you cannot register using these directions on your phone or iPad) and login to your account. If you do not have an account you can create an account at the same link. Self-rate if needed. https://tennislink.usta.com
2. Once you are logged into your account, the top of the page will say Welcome! and your name.
3. Choose the following in the drop-down menus:
A. Section - USTA/SOUTHERN
B. District/Area - TENNESSEE
C. Area - TN - NASHVILLE
D. League - Mixed Doubles Flex League or Doubles Flex League
E. Flight - select the level you wish to play
F. Team Name - List team name as: TN/Nashville/lastname/lastname (the last name of each player; TN/Nashville/Smith/Jones or TN/Nashville/Jones/Jones)
G. Home Courts - Select Independent Team if your facility is not listed.
H. Click the blue Create Team bar. Each flex mixed doubles “team” will be assigned its own team number. Be sure the captain box is checked for both players. Members pay the discounted fee; Non-Members pay full price.
