With all our tennis activities restricted because of COVID-19, you may be looking for ways to keep your kids involved in the sport.
Good news! USTA Net Generation has a really broad range of activities to help keep your children active. This is a web site you really have to go visit:
https://netgeneration.usta.com/us-en/tennis-at-home.html
From USTA's page:
"While you’re working hard to keep your family safe, the USTA and Net Generation are here to help you keep your children active. Because even when schools are closed, there are plenty of ways to stay engaged while nurturing creativity and a love for learning.
We will be sharing tennis tips and fun activities to keep everyone in the family active and occupied. We’ll also be soon adding tennis-themed educational content from the USTA Foundation's Academic Creative Engagement (A.C.E.) Curriculum to make sure the learning, and the fun, doesn’t have to stop.
If you wou like to receive these updates via email, you can join us at Net Generation for free."
The activities include:
- Seventeen (17!) Activity videos
- Links to more videos from GONOODLE
- An invitation to participate in a drawing challenge (see examples on the website)
- The Ace Curriculum from the USTA Foundation
This is all great stuff and you should check it out!
