Our first session of Nashville Catholic Tennis League was held at Centennial Sportsplex, on Saturday, September 9th. We had a great turnout for a Labor Day holiday weekend. We had 10 players in the 9:00-10:30am(K-4th) group and 19 participate in the 10:00-12:00(5th-8th)group.There was lots of tennis instruction, from USPTA tennis pros, Danny Castro and Helen Neuhoff, along with Coach Andy Brunelle from St. Rose Lima, for our beginner groups. Our competitive group completed several matches. Scores were documented.
The coaches will keep a running tally of match points earned by player and school. These points will be added to our spring session matches. Winners will be announced on the last day of our spring date and trophies presented to School with most points, Girl player with most points and Boy player with most points. We will also award a boy and girl sportsmanship award and most improved player award.
Remember to bring a completed copy of the attached medical form on 9/19.
