Update 7/19/2019: The final league champion in the Gold Division was Wakanda Warriors Forever. In the Silver Division, The Order of the Phoenix. Everyone played hard and put their hearts into the league competition. Our first summer league is turning out to be a great success, with many players commented on how fun the play has been! We're down to the last week and championship matches! The Gold Division championship will be Doug Kee's Shock and Awe vs David Wyley Long's Wakanda Warriors Forever. The Silver Division Championship play will be Greg Bates' Overhead Smash vs Hugh Daniel's The Order of the Phoenix.
This social mixed doubles league began play on June 6, and in spite of one of the rainiest summers on record for Tennessee, managed our six weeks of Thursday evening matches with only a few makeup matches. Final matches will be played at the Hadley Park Tennis Center on Thursday, July 18 beginning at 6:00 pm. Come on out and support one of these hard-playing teams.
