Centennial Sportspex Indoor Winter Season

The Centennial Sportsplex Indoor Winter Season Applications will go live on August 19^th and will remain open until August 25th.  The indoor tennis center has installed 31 new LED lights, doubling the light output. 

Application Information: 

• The application fee is $50 for residents and $60 for non-residents 
• This fee will go towards your indoor wintertime 
• The fee is non-refundable if you do not select a court time 

• We recommend that if a group of four people are looking for one time, to put one application in.  
• Multiple application fees will not go toward one time. Only one application will go toward one indoor season selection. 

Indoor Winter Season Hours: 

• Monday to Thursday 5am to 9pm 
  • No courts available from 4pm to 6pm due to Sportsplex programming 
  • Limited courts available from 6pm to 8pm due to Sportsplex programming 
• Friday 5am to 7pm 
• Saturday 8am to 5pm 
  • We will open the doors 5 minutes earlier (7:55am) to assist in getting people the full time on the court. 
• Sunday 10am to 7pm 
  • We will open the doors 5 minutes earlier (9:55am) to assist in getting people the full time on the court. 
  • This year there are very limited spots for Sunday times. With the Sportsplex being closed on Sundays last season, people were unable to use the times they selected and paid for. We will be honoring the court time they selected last year. For this reason, please email Dillon.hoyt@nashville.gov if you are only interested in Sunday times. He will let you know what slots are available, which may influence whether you want to submit an application for this indoor winter season. 

Drawing Day: Friday, August 27th, 10:00am – Drawing Completed 

• With the current guidelines, we are only permitting 15 people to watch the drawing in person. Over the last two years, less than a handful of people have come to the drawing day. 
• If you would like to watch the drawing in person, please email dillon.hoyt@nashville.gov to be signed up.
• After the drawing is completed everyone will be sent an email by the end of the business day with their placement along with a time to come in for the selection day. 

Selection & Payment Day: Saturday, September 4th, 2021 

• Each applicant will be notified of their designated time to show up on September 4th to pick and pay for their indoor winter time. If you are late for your assigned time,  you will have to wait until the next assigned break time. 
• An email will be sent with the link to view the court availability sheet. 
• The entire process for each individual will take less than 20 minutes.  
• If you are unable to make it to the selection day, you may send someone to act on your behalf. Email dillon.hoyt@nashville.gov to set this up prior to the selection day. 

Other Information:

• Start dates and end dates cannot be adjusted 
• We will not allow multiple entrees by one individual for the drawing. 
• The price is $20 an hour for residents and $22 for non-residents. 
• Winter indoor court times will only be sold in 1.5 hour and 2 hour time slots. Times will begin on the hour and half hour. Only one application per individual.

• September 4th - Selection and Payment Day  
• October 25th, 2021 - Indoor Winter Season Start Date  
• March 27th, 2022 - Indoor Winter Season End Date
